  General Dermatologic Surgery

Although skin cancer removal using Mohs surgery is Dr. DeBloom’s primary focus, other non-cancerous skin lesions requiring surgical intervention can be treated in our office with expert technique. Generally these surgical procedures require a referral from your general dermatologist or primary care physician. If you are unable to acquire a referral please contact our office to schedule an evaluation with Dr. DeBloom. Additional types of skin lesions that can be treated in our office include:

1. Dysplatic nevi, otherwise known as moles with early pre-cancerous features.

2. Painful cysts growing on cosmetically sensitive areas such as the head and neck.

3. Difficult to treat, non-cancerous growths on the hands and feet

4. Large, concerning nevi (moles) that have been present for many years but have recently changed in appearance.
